2014 Pilot Grant Awards

Frontiers awards pilot grants of $20,000 each year for promising beginning-stage research projects conducted by researchers at participating institutions. Frontiers partnered with other organizations and units to provide funding for a larger number of meritorious applications. In some cases, these units fully funded the awards themselves but used the services of the Frontiers peer review board.
