Frontiers Research Day

Please attend Frontiers Research Day
(immediately preceding KUMC Faculty Research Day)
9:30-11:30 a.m.
Friday, October 28, 2016
KUMC School of Nursing Auditorium, G013

For the past several years, we have held Frontiers Research Day the morning of KUMC Faculty Research Day.  All of the Frontiers partners from UMKC, KCU, CMKC, St Luke’s would attend and we would have research presentations by the Frontiers Pilot Grant awardees and by the K and T training scholars.  This year we are doing something different.

Frontiers: The Heartland Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (the infrastructure vehicle for the NIH CTSA program) has put together a stimulating program that will introduce investigators to a dynamic group of community leaders and organizations from the Kansas City metro area. Join us for a series of presentations reflecting the KUMC Faculty Research Day themes of health promotion, overweight/obesity, physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

As always with Frontiers events, we want to welcome attendees from all of our Frontiers partners in Kansas City and throughout Kansas.
